DJ G-Papi

G-Papi began his career in the entertainment industry at the age of 9 when he stood in front of an audience of around 150 people and sang a song that he had written himself. As a teenager he learned to play the guitar and the piano which fostered a lifelong love for music and entertaining. When he turned 18 he answered the call to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. While on active duty he survived multiple gun shot wounds to the head and neck and as a result was given a full retirement from the military. Having a strong desire to continue in the entertainment business he was introduced to the world of spinning music and operated a successful company in the Cincinnati area for several years. He has been featured in DJ Times Magazine, acted as Director of PR for the Mid-America DJ Convention, and in 2003 was named one of Ohio's top 100 businessmen. He has been sponsored by Budweiser and was the feature DJ for Sara Lee and Liz Claiborne for many years. In 2006 he moved to upstate NY to operate a studio and produce his own music. Moving to Kalamazoo MI in 2016 he found himself anxious to get back in front of a live audience and made the move to get back in the mobile DJ business. He offers services for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and corporate events.
