Founded in 2006 by Dean McAfee, the company was established as a professional DJ collective with the purpose of changing the stereotype of the "cheesy wedding DJ."

Pittsburgh DJ Company provides entertainment to the Western Pennsylvania region and beyond, with experience doing events throughout PA, Ohio, West Virginia, New York, Maryland, North Carolina, and Florida.

The company is selective about which DJs represent Pittsburgh DJ Company, with strict criteria that require only the best local DJs who can rock a dancefloor with a nightclub-style approach while staying true to the importance of each event. All of their DJs are award-winning professionals experienced, organized, and trusted at keeping the dancefloor full.
