Street Beat Brass Band

Street Beat Brass is a strolling brass band led by New York Foundation for the Arts Fellow Jeff Fairbanks. Formed in 2012, the band has performed at nearly 250 different venues with clientele including over 150 corporations and over 40 event/branding companies. They play a diverse range of music, from New Orleans Jazz and NoLaFunk to Latin Jazz, Pop, Polka, Gospel, and Klezmer. The band has been featured on ABC's Good Morning America and over a dozen other TV appearances, and has been chosen by the US State Department to officially represent American culture on multiple international tours. They have opened for the New York Philharmonic, performed at every NYC Five Boro Bike Tour since 2015, and at every Kentucky Derby since 2019.
