Kit began singing and playing at age five, wrote his first song at age eight, and played his first paid wedding ceremony at age 17. With the founding of his band Intervision in 2003, Kit decided to pursue music full time. The band released three critically acclaimed records and toured with Lifehouse and The Neville Brothers. After the band went their separate ways temporarily in 2012, Kit began focusing on wedding ceremonies, private and corporate events, and funerals and memorials. Kit realized that many couples wanted a pianist but didn't want to pay for both a musician and a DJ. That's when he bought a top-tier sound system, learned how to read a crowd, and applied his extensive music background. Over ten years and hundreds of weddings, he has established himself as a leading professional in the industry. What sets Kit Taylor Piano + DJ apart is his unmatched musicality and history in the industry. Kit's recent single "Missin' You More" features Sony/ATV artist Jarrod Lawson. He has also worked with Jimmie Herrod (NBC's "America's Got Talent"), Jennifer Batten (guitar, Michael Jackson), Craig Carothers (songwriter, Trisha Yearwood) and countless others. He holds a degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Kit offers ceremony services as well as DJ services for events throughout the region.
